We are looking for a Junior Web Developer to join our Design & Tech Development team and support the development, maintenance and improvement of websites for our clients.

About the Role

We are looking for a Junior Web Developer to join our Design & Tech Development team and support the development, maintenance and improvement of websites for our clients.

This is a great opportunity for a fresh graduate or someone with limited experience who is interested in web development and wants to build their skills in a professional digital marketing environment. Training and guidance will be provided, with the expectation that you will gradually develop the skills and confidence to take greater ownership of website projects.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with developing, updating and maintaining client websites.
Make website updates, content changes and basic layout adjustments.
Build and modify web pages using HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
Support responsive and mobile-friendly website development.
Assist with WordPress website development and maintenance.
Test websites across different browsers and devices to identify and resolve issues.
Troubleshoot basic website errors and escalate more complex technical issues when required.
Work with the design and SEO teams to ensure websites meet project requirements and SEO best practices.
Assist with website migrations, updates, integrations and other development tasks.
Maintain organised files, code and project documentation.
Keep up to date with new web development technologies, tools and AI developments.
Work with the Senior Web Developer and Team Lead to complete projects on time and to a high standard.
Progress towards independently managing assigned website projects as your skills and experience develop.

Requirements

0–1 years of experience in web development or a related field. Fresh graduates are welcome.
Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS.
Basic understanding of JavaScript is an advantage.
Familiarity with WordPress or other content management systems is an advantage.
Understanding of responsive web design and mobile-friendly development.
Basic understanding of website structure, hosting and domains is an advantage.
Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Good attention to detail and organisational skills.
Good written and spoken English.
Strong willingness to learn and develop new technical skills.
Able to manage deadlines and work well as part of a team.
Proactive, reliable and willing to take ownership of assigned tasks.
Interest in new web technologies, AI tools and digital trends.

The Ideal Candidate

You don’t need to know everything about web development. We’re looking for someone who is curious, eager to learn, technically minded and not afraid to ask questions.

You should enjoy solving problems, be comfortable learning new tools and technologies, and take pride in producing clean, reliable work. We want someone who can start by supporting the team and gradually grow into a developer who can take ownership of their own website projects.
