Position Purpose

We are seeking a talented Content Writer/Editor to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for crafting engaging, high-quality content that aligns with our brand and meets the needs of our clients. You will also play a key role in executing copy revisions and refining content to ensure it’s error-free, compelling, and consistent in voice and tone across various platforms. This position is ideal for someone with a passion for writing, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to collaborate with content creators and marketing teams to bring ideas to life.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Content Accuracy: Ensure all content is accurate, error-free, and aligns with our clients’ digital marketing goals, incorporating SEO strategies effectively.
  • Feedback Responsiveness: Promptly address and integrate feedback into your work, making necessary revisions to meet the high standards expected by Move Ahead Media and our clients.
  • Task Management: Manage content assignments efficiently, ensuring all deadlines are met without delays, while demonstrating strong time management and organisational skills.
  • Collaboration: Work with writers, designers, and marketers to produce high-quality content across multiple channels, including websites, blogs, social media, and marketing materials.
  • Content Calendar Management: Create and maintain the content calendar and ensure the timely delivery of all content projects.
  • Research: Conduct in-depth research to ensure content is accurate, up-to-date, and relevant to our target audience.
  • SEO Optimization: Optimise content for SEO, ensuring it meets best practices for search engines.
  • Editorial: Support content development while resolving client feedback on content.
  • Industry Awareness: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor content strategies to continually improve the content Move Ahead Media creates.
  • Capacity: Can write between 1500 to 2000 words per day

Qualifications:

  • Creative writing and ideation
  • Familiarity with SEO techniques and structuring
  • Effective task organization
  • Proactive research abilities
  • 2-4 years of hands-on experience in creating digital content
  • Be self-initiating
  • Ability to handle editorial revisions for multiple clients
  • Ability to do content writing for blogs and websites, as well as social media and ad copy
  • Has agency experience
  • Ability to communicate well with other teams
