Position Purpose

We’re looking for experienced Business Development Executives to join the Move Ahead Media team in Bangkok. This is a full-time role focused on generating new business opportunities for our digital marketing services across either the Australian or Thailand market, depending on your language skills and experience.

The role involves:
• Outbound sales and lead generation
• Cold calling and client outreach
• Booking appointments and presenting solutions
• Building strong client relationships
• Closing new business deals

We’re looking for someone who is confident communicating with clients, proactive with follow-ups, and comfortable working in a fast-paced agency environment. Previous sales or telesales experience is highly preferred, especially within digital marketing, advertising, or related industries.

Roles & Responsibilities

Identify and develop new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, lead generation, and industry research.
Meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs on a consistent basis.
Manage the full sales cycle, including lead generation, discovery calls, proposal presentations, client acquisition, and ongoing relationship management when required.
Understand client pain points and recommend suitable digital marketing solutions and strategies.
Prepare customised proposals and presentations for prospective clients
Act as a trusted marketing consultant by guiding prospects through the decision-making process
Previous experience in sales, business development, or the digital marketing industry is preferred.
Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and closing skills are essential.
Strong presentation, negotiation & sales closing skills are essential to communicate effectively to foster relationships with new and existing partners.
Maintain accurate records of sales activities, pipeline updates, and client interactions within the CRM system.
Provide regular updates and sales activity reports to management on a weekly and monthly basis.
Represent Move Ahead Media professionally at networking events, conferences, and industry functions when required.
Ensure a high standard of professionalism, responsiveness, and service quality across all client interactions.
Support internal teams and stakeholders with ad-hoc tasks when needed.
Remain responsive and communicative via Slack, email, and client communication channels during working hours.

Skills & Team Culture

Experience in digital marketing is preferred, particularly in SEO, Google Ads, and Social Media Marketing. Relevant certifications are a plus.
Strong sales and business development skills with the ability to confidently present, negotiate, and build client relationships.
Good understanding of digital marketing tools, platforms, and industry best practices.
Commercially minded with strong business acumen and the ability to understand client goals and recommend suitable solutions.
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret reports, performance data, and campaign insights.
Comfortable initiating conversations with prospective clients through phone calls, email outreach, networking, and LinkedIn prospecting.
Customer-focused with a strong commitment to delivering a positive client experience. Confident handling objections, qualifying leads, and booking appointments with decision-makers.
Strong communication and relationship-building skills, particularly in phone-based and client-facing sales environments.
Proactive, adaptable, and willing to take initiative in a fast-paced environment.
Self-motivated and proactive in developing new business opportunities rather than relying solely on inbound leads.
Able to work collaboratively within a team while maintaining accountability and ownership of responsibilities.
