Senior Account manager

Play a key role in shaping client success - from strategy to execution and help businesses grow through data-driven digital marketing.

Position Purpose

Account managers serve as the bridge between Move Ahead Media and our clients. As an Account Manager at our digital marketing agency, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with our clients, ensuring their satisfaction, and managing the successful execution of digital marketing campaigns. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver results, drive growth, and help clients achieve their business objectives through effective digital strategies.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in digital marketing, with experience managing SEO / digital marketing clients in a fast-paced agency environment, and excellent proven leadership. Have a track record of driving revenue growth for both the company and clients.

Roles & Responsibilities

Primary Client Contact

  • Coach and consult the AM team to find the best solutions for clients and internal teams in difficult situations.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, understanding their needs, goals, and challenges.
  • Build and nurture strong, lasting client relationships by providing exceptional service and understanding their business landscape.
  • Regularly communicate with clients to provide updates, insights, and recommendations.

Account Management

  • Oversee all client accounts under the supervision of the Head of AM team.
  • Manage multiple client accounts simultaneously while addressing each client’s unique needs.
  • Develop and execute digital marketing strategies aligned with client objectives to drive revenue growth.

Cross-Team Collaboration

  • Act as a role model for effective collaboration within the AM team and across departments.
  • Collaborate with creative, content, SEO, SEM, and social media teams to develop campaign plans.
  • Ensure clear communication between client expectations and internal execution.

Data-Driven Insights

  • Analyze campaign performance using metrics to inform strategic decisions.
  • Provide regular reports and insights, highlighting performance and improvement areas.

Upselling and Growth

  • Identify opportunities to upsell services based on client needs and industry trends.
  • Drive account growth and revenue expansion.
  • Collaborate with the BDE team to successfully close upselling deals.

Project Management

  • Proactively coordinate with the AM team to plan and complete tasks.
  • Manage timelines efficiently to meet deadlines and ensure client satisfaction.

Adaptability and Learning

  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.
  • Maintain a positive, solution-oriented mindset.
  • Adapt strategies to changes in the digital landscape and recommend innovations.

Budget Oversight

  • Manage campaign budgets effectively with the PPC team to maximize ROI.
  • Provide budget forecasts and updates to clients.

Quality Assurance

  • Ensure quality and consistency of deliverables to meet or exceed expectations.

Client Education

  • Educate clients on digital marketing strategies, trends, and service value.

Feedback Collection

  • Gather client feedback to improve service and campaign effectiveness.
  • Monitor and improve AM team performance to reduce issues over time.

Documentation and Reporting

  • Maintain organized records of client interactions and campaign details.
  • Collaborate with the PPC team for monthly and quarterly reports.
  • Prepare reports for clients and internal stakeholders as needed.
  • Work with process teams and senior strategists to resolve issues effectively.
