Vacancy: Business Development Executive (Bangkok-based)

We are expanding our team and we are on the lookout for highly driven and ambitious Business Development Executives to join our team in Bangkok, Thailand!

This is a permanent/full-time role, Monday to Friday from 6:30 to 3:30 or 8:00 to 5:00 pm at our office in Sukhumvit 21 Asoke, Bangkok. Expats are welcome and encouraged to apply!

Our Business Development Executives are passionate about improving and growing a business by establishing and developing relationships with customers, suppliers and other partners. The main duty will be to work with the lead gen team to fact-find, strategise and present to inbound enquiries that want MAM’s digital marketing services. You should have the ability to listen critically, communicate effectively, ask searching questions, understand business models and then take this information and turn it into a marketing strategy they can present in a clear constructive manner to meet the requirements of the prospect. You’ll need to identify new business opportunities to generate revenue, improve profitability and help the business grow. Your work can involve careful strategic planning and positioning in the appropriate markets, or enhancing the operation of the business, position or reputation in some way.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and research potential clients and industries that would benefit from our digital marketing services.
  • Develop and implement strategies to target and acquire new clients.
  • Sales Presentations: Conduct presentations and meetings with prospective clients to understand their goals, challenges, and needs.
  • Build and nurture strong client relationships
  • Cold Call prospect clients, and work with the lead gen team.
  • Completes fact finds for the prospects and follows up on reports and audits
  • Prepares and presents the summary of services, proposals, pitches
  • Ultimately, closes the deal and gets MAM new clients to help grow the business.
  • Complete a full handover/onboarding of the closed leads to the account management team.
  • Revenue Growth: Achieve and exceed sales targets and revenue goals by converting leads into clients.
  • Continuously seek opportunities for upselling and cross-selling our services.
  • Attend industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to expand the company’s presence and generate leads.
  • Sales Reporting: Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for management.

Skills and Personal Attributes:

  • NB sales/business development experience, preferably in selling digital marketing products online marketing
  • Understands the aims and creation of our digital marketing services
  • “Pure hunter” attitude, hungry for sales
  • Not afraid to do cold calls or close deals
  • Has negotiation and objection-handling skills
  • (Commercial) Must have business acumen and understanding of business needs. You need to understand the needs of your clients and be able to respond effectively with a plan of how to meet these.
  • (Analytical) Have the ability to understand and dissect reports & data
